Austin building-envelope leak detection

Gypcrete floors for Austin apartments and buildings

Multifamily floors are a pour schedule, not a patch kit. This site is only GypCrete and lightweight underlayment for buildings in Austin.

Why GCs call a specialist

See the field plan

Apartment decks need a level, quiet floor that the finish flooring can live on. A bad pour shows up as lippage, cracked tile, and noise complaints.

Lightweight mixes have lead time. Our estimating notes run 4 to 5 days on material once the job is awarded. Plan the deck, not a next-day dump.

A floor pour that ignores the waterproofing plane under it becomes a leak into the unit below.

One crew. One envelope.

What to watch for

Small signals can mark a larger hidden path.

  • New multifamily or hotel decks that need underlayment
  • Sound-rated floors between occupied units
  • Lightweight concrete over metal deck
  • A failed pour that has to come out and go back
  • A GC who wants one house for floor and the related waterproofing at the deck

Field standard

Trace first.
Repair second.

Find the cause before pricing the close-up.

Clear scope, honest boundaries, and a repair built around the assembly—not the stain.

AUS / 01

We pour GypCrete and lightweight underlayment for apartment and commercial floors. Level, thickness, and mix follow the finish floor and the acoustical spec.

Where the assembly calls for it, lightweight pricing includes the 60 mil waterproofing and aluminum T-bar — that stays in the floor package, not a surprise.

Moisture testing of an existing slab and framing corrections stay with others unless we write them into the bid.

Do you pour houses?

This site is for apartment and building floors. A single-family mud job is a different product.

Can you meet a sound spec?

We pour to the assembly on the drawings. STC testing and acoustical engineering stay with the design team.

How soon can you mobilize in Austin?

After award, material lead is typically 4 to 5 days. We confirm that on the bid, not as a slogan.
